OK, ha ha... Now that we've all had a good laugh because we can totally relate to that right??

That is what we are about here - making the right choices. Some of you have expressed some frustration with not seeing the kind of results you were expecting. My baby is crying and I know once I get her, I won't have a chance to get back to this post until tonight. So I'll make this short and sweet - you didn't wake up one morning 20 pounds heavier, so don't expect to get on your scale tomorrow morning 20 pounds lighter! SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE (thanks, Heather). This is about a lifestyle change, not a diet. Your body will adjust and so will the scale. And the slower that happens, the more likely you are to continue on this path and keep the weight off!
Keep up the hard work everyone! We are so proud of all of you!!

Right on sista! One pound a week is healthy weight loss that when you continue the healthy lifestyle - will STAY OFF!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I don't think I can take total credit for that phrase! I am pretty sure someone else coined that phrase, but I am glad to have passed it along! Thanks for a great post to get me started on week 4!
ReplyDeleteYEAH, I know!! I'm just such an impatient person sometimes! But I'll get there! So far so good so I'll take my daughter's advice (or whoever came up with that) and take it slow and steady! When I'm walking I keep telling myself "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!" lol Don't know who coined that one but I'd sure like to find out if it's true! ha ah ah
