Clarity - Sugar

We know that the concept of going sugar-free is new to many of you.  This page will be dedicated to clarifying what is ok and what isn't when it comes to the NO SUGAR aspect of the challenge.  The primary thing you need to focus on is the INGREDIENTS, not so much actual grams of sugar.  There is sugar in almost anything, but the question of whether or not it's legal can simply be answered by whether or not sugar or high fructose corn syrup is listed as an ingredient.  If so, then leave it out of your body.

The exception is BREAD and BREAD ONLY.  When choosing a bread, it is acceptable to choose any bread as long as the nutrition label shows 1 serving as having 2 grams of sugar or less.

If there is ever any question about an item, you can always ask us, or go to!  Search for the item in question and most often the nutritional information is right at your fingertips!
